Two teenagers accused of forcing an 18-year-old girl into a house where they raped and buggered her were on Wednesday remanded to prison by Acting Chief Magistrate Cecil Sullivan.

It is alleged that on November 3 at Middle Road, La Penitence 17-year-old Ryan Prescott and a 14-year-old committed the acts on the girl.

According to reports, the girl was walking when the two came up to her and forcibly took her to the house. Once there she was taken into a room where the accused committed the acts. The matter was later reported to the police and they were arrested.

They were not required to plead to the indictable charges of rape and buggery. They will return to Court Six on November 14.
